CSG m519 Sim card Instructions
Installation and Removal
To begin ensure that you are using a Nano SIM card (Smallest of the size within a Tri-Cut SIM). When looking at the modem the opening for the SIM card is on the left hand side of the modem.
Access the SIM card slots and the reset button by lifting the plastic/rubber piece carefully. It is attached at the top left corner near the antenna and will pivot up and away from the modem.
If you currently have a SIM card in SIM slot 1 you can remove it by gently pressing on the SIM card with your fingernail (or a SIM removal tool). You will feel a click and then the SIM card will eject partially. You can then pull the SIM card the rest of the way out of the SIM slot.
To insert your new SIM card please see the pictures below for the orientation of the SIM. The metal part should face up (towards the front of the modem) and the cut corner of the SIM card should go into the modem first.
Once inserted press on the SIM card firmly with your fingernail (or SIM card tool) until it clicks into place. Once it clicks into place it will not spring back out and will be locked in place until you need to remove it for any reason.
If you are adding a SIM card to SIM slot 2 please follow these same instructions. The SIM card will be orientated the same way as SIM slot 1, metal part facing up and cut corner entering the modem first.
